Recommend
I don't get out quite as often as I'd like.
But when I do, it's almost invariably got something to do with live music - either performing with my band - Perverted by
Language, or going to some sort of gig in the Brussels area.
In doing that over the past few years, I've discovered that Brussels has a truly great underground music scene. With some great venues, some excellent bands, some excecrable shite and a lot to
talk about.
Why pay through the nose to get to an overcrowded venue with overpriced drinks and an act that still hasn't quite worked out where Belgium is yet when you can go to a café, get well ratted on
trapiste, and spend the evening with a great band and great people for a fraction of the cost?
