Annik is someone who values her privacy There are very good reasons why you can't find an e-mail adress or web presence. Because that's the way she wants it.

This would be the last Section XXV gig with Larry Cassidy at the helm. He left this mortal coil only a few months later.

Hi thanks for the review, The Drummer was Eddie Sherwood, and the bass player was Colin Seddon, they make a pretty unique ryhthm section and are a joy to play especially after 30 years .
The line up was the original line up 79 to 83, Which was pre Factory ,save for the soundtrack album Feverhouse released as Fac 105 in 1984,(I always thought it was strange that the VHS video of the
film on IKON was also the same catalogue number Fac105). The First line up recorded three albums =Dont Heal ,Live It and Libreville.
Biting Tongues shared a rehersal space with Factory band Crispy Ambulance during the late 70s early 80s and you will find several family tree branches connecting.
There was a second phase of Biting Tongues which released two E.P s on Factory ,Troublehand (Fac 134) and Compressor (Fac 188) ,On both of these releases the drummer was Phil Kirby, again a very
  unique stylist on the drums.

Theres a chunk of Biting Tongues history on the Manchester District Music Archive

  soho.

Hi Jez, Here's Guido (Joy De Vivre). I can live with your comment, but now it's 2009 : in 1978 I played the guitar as unassured as Barney but, 'cause I also do the vocals, I had to change some little guitar/synth parts to keep the singing in tune . Inno and Bart were too young in the late 70's, but I'm very glad to play with them (for several years); most of the bassplayers and drummers are now sitting home with wife and kids watching television, or playing the usual stuff for the big money . I know we play on top quality gear, but didn't Barney play on Gibson+Marshall+Vox, Hooky on HiWatt 100 tube-amp, Steve on Rogers+Gretch+Zildjan+some new electronic stuff and the synth was an ARP Omni2. By the way we're also working class, 2009. We know what you're trying to say, we also like the typical 70's-sound/view of Joy D., but anno 2009 we're trying to create and spread their live sound as close as possible as we can with the available (we've tried an extra guitar player, but failed ; now looking for an extra synthplayer). Other cover/tribute bands, on youtube or myspace, maybe look more like Joy D. but I can't hear the voice/despair/anger of Ian in it (thanks for the nice comment about the voice).I think this is the most important for the next generation, or else we have to do it with the Killers or Paul Young. Greetz and be our guest, Guido.
